CHESTER COUNTY, PA — For a tenth consecutive year, Ardent Credit Union awarded scholarships to local students headed to college. Four Conestoga High School seniors and two Spring-Ford Area High School seniors were among 12 selected. Ardent assigned awards of $1,000 each on July 21.

To be chosen, high school seniors must demonstrate academic excellence, participate in volunteer organizations or hold part-time jobs. All applications were reviewed and scored by the Ardent Scholarship Award Committee.

"We have another incredible group of scholarship winners this year who we know will go on to achieve great success," said Rob Werner, President and CEO of Ardent Credit Union. "We’re honored to be able to support them as they continue on their journey and pursue higher education, particularly in a year that is unlike any other."
