WAYNE, PA — The Black Powder Tavern in Wayne will host a historic evening with an author and historian who will discuss a key battle in the Revolutionary War.

Author and historian William Kidder will be speaking on the Battle of Trenton and his views on how this battle transformed the Revolutionary War and America today at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 at the tavern.

Kidder, the author of six novels on American history, received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Allegheny College, served in the Navy for four years, and was a history teacher for 32 years.

Tickets cost $45 and attendees will be able to enjoy a special menu. The menu is:
