Berwyn Christmas Event Brings Donation for Fire Company

The Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association's annual Christmas tree lighting event was postponed due to a snowstorm back in early December, but that didn't stop the Association from helping the Berwyn Fire Company.

The snow-delayed festivities were moved back a week and a half and down the road from the Berwyn Train Station to the Handel's Ice Cream parking lot. Even though the tree remained lit at the train station, weekday traffic and park necessitated the move.

The event raised $800 which the BDBPA donated to the fire company during its monthly business meeting held Wednesday at EmJ's cafe in Berwyn.
