Berwyn Veterans Victory Run Set For May 18

BERWYN, PA — The annual Berwyn Veterans Victory Run is all set for May 18. All you need to do is sign up.

The run and walk will be held the morning of Saturday, May 18 in Berwyn’s Johnson Park, at Bridge and 1st avenues. The run begins and ends in the park.

Race-day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Those already signed up can pick up their bib number at 7:30 a.m. as well. Free shirts will be given to the first 250 people to sign up, as well.

The 5k run and walk begins at 8:30 a.m. with the kids fun run starting at 9:15 a.m.

Following the run, participants are invited to stay in Johnson Park for food and drinks at the post-race party.

Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers: $250 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third.

Awards will be given in the following age groups to male and female participants:

• 14 and under
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60+

Other awards to be given our are largest family, winning corporate team, and biggest neighborhood participation (indicate your neighborhood on the registration form).
