A lot of contemporary pop musicians rely on overly clever lyrics and pulsating dance beats to get their point across, but that’s not the case with Western Massachusetts based singer-songwriter Seth Glier. Glier (pronounced “Gleer”), who received a Grammy nomination for his 2011 release “The Next Right Thing,” is more interested in connecting with his audience rather than embracing the newest trend.

“I’m a songwriter and I believe that the way in which we tell a story ultimately has the power to change the story. I think that when someone lets a song into their heart it becomes a spirit. To me, songs are mediators between the spiritual and sensual world and I think that this world is in desperate need of them.” Glier tells us.

Multi-instrumentalist/pianist Seth Glier has shared stages with artists such as James Taylor, John Mayer, Mark Knopfler, The Verve Pipe, Edwin McCain, and Ani DiFranco. He has appeared as a main-stage artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival (NY) and the Kerrville Folk Festival (TX). A
troubadour in every sense of the word, Seth plays over 250+ shows a year. USA Today compared Seth to Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel.
