Conestoga High School Named Among Top Suburban Schools
Philadelphia Magazine's regional assessment of high schools identified Conestoga as among the best.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP — A yearly evaluation of schools based on state and national education data identified 40 outstanding high schools in the greater Philadelphia area, and Tredyffrin Township's Conestoga High School is among those named.
Philadelphia Magazine recently published its list of the 40 Top-Rated Public High Schools in Philadelphia and the Suburbs.
The magazine used the data from the Pennsylvania and New Jersey departments of education and the National Center for Education Statistics to look at factors such as enrollment, student-teacher ratio, SAT scores, and students who go on to attend college, among other factors.

Conestoga High School enrolls 2,243 students, with a 97 percent of graduates going on the college. Its student-to-teacher ratio is 16 to 1, and SAT scores (verbal/math) are 629/643.
The list features 40 schools, 15 of which are located in the city. The remaining 25 are all suburban schools in Delaware, Chester, Bucks, and Montgomery counties, as well as New Jersey.
