Conestoga Teacher Named Interim Asst. Principal
Lydia Hallman will take over the position starting in the spring.

A Conestoga High School chemistry and physics teacher will be taking over the role of Assistant Principal for five months starting next spring.
According to announcement on the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District website Lydia Hallman will serve as acting assistant principal of Conestoga High School, effective April 1, 2014 through August 27, 2014.
According to the announcement:  "Lydia will assume assistant principal Mrs. Michele Staves’ position until Michele returns from leave at the end of August. Lydia will join the Conestoga administrative team which includes principal Dr. Amy Meisinger and assistant principals Mr. Patrick Boyle, Mr. Andy Phillips and Mr. Anthony DiLella.Â
Lydia is currently a chemistry and physics teacher at Conestoga and brings a variety of educational experiences to the role of assistant principal. She began teaching at Conestoga in 2002 and has worked closely with students and parents as the National Honor Society advisor and Senior Class Advisor. At the District level, Lydia has been a member of the Science Standing Committee and a differentiated instruction mentor.
Lydia holds a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Drexel University and a master’s degree in educational leadership and principal’s certification from St. Joseph’s University. She completed her administrative internship at Conestoga High School."
