TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Summer jobs are a major part of coming to age, and Tredyffrin Township is seeking young people to take on a summer job at its Summer Day Camp this year.
The township Parks & Recreation Department is hiring Summer Day Camp Counselors, and interested parties can apply now through March 20.
Anyone 15 years of age or older who is enthusiastic, enjoys outdoor activities and has experience with Children between the ages of 3 to 12 is encouraged to apply.

The Summer Day Camp is held Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to about 12:15 p.m., June 22 through July 31.
As part of the hiring process, counselors are required to provide valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance and FBI Federal Criminal History Records. These clearances are required for any position involving interaction with children. Below is information on how to obtain these clearances:
- The Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) application can be submitted online. Once you enter the link you will be directed to the Child Welfare Portal where you must create an account or log in if you already have an account. - The FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) - for volunteers who have lived in Pennsylvania for less than ten years
