Credit Card Fraud, Identity Theft: Recent Police Reports

The following information comes from Tredyffrin Township Police. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt.

  • Around 10 a.m. Feb. 27 on the 200 block of Upper Gulph Road in Wayne. The victim reported their credit card was fraudulently used at Dell Computers for two purchases valued at approximately $3,000 each. The case is under investigation.
  • Around 4:45 p.m. Feb. 27 on Eaves Spring Road in Malvern. The victims reported that unknown actor(s) had filed a tax return in their name. The victims discovered it when they received a letter from the IRS in reference to an adjusted refund for 2014 in which they had not filed yet.
  • At 11:40 p.m. Feb. 28 on Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. Police charged Jack Terzian, 18, of Wayne with possession of a small amount of marijuana and related paraphernalia.
