Deer Strike on Lancaster Ave
A deer literally in the headlines causes damage to a car and disrupts rush hour on Lancaster Ave.
A woman's car was heavily damaged and traffic was disrupted Wednesday afternoon rush hour in the 1200 block of Lancaster Ave/Route 30 about half a mile east of the Daylesford train Station.
The car was damaged when a deer ran across the road into the path of the oncoming car. Â The sedan was heavily damaged but the woman who was driving was unhurt. Â The deer did not survive the crash.
Poilce from Tredyffrin and Easttown responded to the scene shortly after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
