DUIs Top Crime Counts In Tredyffrin Twp. Police Report

10 DUI arrests account for largest category of charges by Tredyffrin police, but police also charged two in domestic situations.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Tredyffrin Township reported 10 individuals have been charged recently with DUI, two men are accused of simple assault, another was charged with possession and intent to deliver drugs, while two are accused of retail theft of phones.

Kevin Span Jr., 26, of Philadelphia, was charged on July 30 with attempting to elude police and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Span was found to be in possession of a quantity of Percocet and a large sum of money. He was also charged with fleeing police.

Police reported on Sept. 8 two men have been charged in separate incidents with simple assault related to domestic incidents. Leonard Mainiero, 58, of Wayne and was charged on July 30. Bernard Hopkins, 37, is also from Wayne and was charged on Aug. 18. Police said Hopkins violated an Emergency Protection From Abuse Order on Aug. 23 and is facing related charges.

On Aug. 25, Ronald Harrigan, 28, of Washington D.C. and Derrick Marbury, 28, of Greenbelt, Md. were charged with retail theft and related offenses stemming from thefts of cellular phones from T-Mobile.

Tredyffrin Township Superintendent of Police T. Michael Beaty and Command Staff Capt. Joseph Glatts, and Lt. Timothy Brown also released department reports on Sept. 8 relating to arrests for Driving Under the Influence, after lab results were verified in order to move forward with charges.

In Pennsylvania, the legal limit for Blood Alcohol Content is 0.08 percent. Police reported the following persons have been charged with DUI, after tests showed the listed Blood Alcohol Content:

Gregory Goodman, 18, of Paoli - BAC - .142% along with controlled substance

Taulant Hoxha, 39, of Wayne - BrAC -.114%

William Brandfass, 53, of Conshohocken - BrAC - 118%

Morgan Burt, 22, of King of Prussia - BrAC -.136%

Joseph Davis, 29, of Devon -.188%

Aditya Singh, 27, of West Chester - BrAC -.164%

Virginia Hammond, 80, of Bryn Mawr - BrAC -.159%

Joseph Hudak, 27, of Bryn Mawr - BrAC - .22%

Christopher Salvucci, 46, of Richboro - Refused test

Daniel Simonsen, 28, of King of Prussia was charged not with DUI Alcohol, but Controlled substance.

Police reports did not provide dates of these arrests.
