Easttown Library Film Fest Highlighting Washington DC
The library is showing four Washington DC-focused films as part of the film fest which will feature beer, refreshments, games, and more.
BERWYN, PA — Seemingly more than ever, Washington DC is in the news. With impeachment proceedings, a presidential race, and constant battling between Republican and Democrats, Americans have Washington on their minds.
And the Easttown Library is going all in on Washington with a film festival centered around Washington.
Easttown Goes To Washington will be held Thursday, Feb. 27 to Saturday, Feb. 29.

Each day will feature one film (the schedule is below) and on Saturday Saint Joseph's professor and American pop culture expert Dr. Jeffrey Hyson will discuss how the films reflect American politics through the years.
Beer from La Cabra Brewing will be served Friday and Saturday, along with other refreshments that will be served throughout the festival.

There will also be games and prizes.
Weekend passes cost $35 while individual tickets are $15. Tickets are available online here or at the library's Circulation Desk.
All proceeds support the Easttown Library.
The Easttown Library is located at 720 First Avenue in Berwyn.

- Saturday, 10 a.m. — "The Best Man" (C) MGM 1964, Not Rated, 102 minutes
- Campaign trail donuts and coffee
- Saturday, 1 p.m. — Dr. Jeffrey Hyson discussion
- Saturday, 2:15 p.m. — "The Candidate" (c) Warner Bros. 1971, PG, 110 minutes
- Mix and mingle light luncheon at noon
