Man, 92, Previously Missing, Now Charged in Stabbing: Report

92-year-old Anthony Ciccio, who returned after a day missing earlier in the week, now charged in attack on roommate, staffers

A 92-year-old nursing home resident in Devon, who earlier this week was reported as missing, has been located- and now he’s been charged with stabbing his roommate and several other violent crimes.

Anthony Ciccio, 92, was the subject of a missing persons report on Tuesday, when he disappeared from Devon Manor in Easttown Township. The Township police announced Wednesday morning that Ciccio had been located.

According to Main Line Media News, the incident took place once he returned to the nursing home. Ciccio allegedly stabbed his roommate- who suffered lacerations to his arm- bit the hand of one staff member and cut the hand of another.

Police told the newspaper that Ciccio claimed to have a bomb. The two staff members were injured while attempting to subdue Ciccio.

Ciccio has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and possession of an instrument of crime and was been taken to Chester County Prison for evaluation.
