  • Waterloo Road is a State road.  Accordingly, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) controls permitting, detouring, work hours, construction, restoration, etc.
  • Some of the Township roads that PECO selected for gas main installation were paved within the previous three years.  PECO agreed to repave these roads edge to edge.
  • PECO’s gas main work will likely extend into fall and its electric work will extend beyond 2022.
  • Residents should not be denied reasonable or timely access to their properties by PECO.  If PECO's road closure prevents you from access to your property, then please contact Don Curley, Public Works Director, by phone at 610-687-3000 extension 114 or via email at dcurley@easttown.org. Township staff will either address the access issue on the Township road or assist in addressing the access issue on the State road.
