Get Tested For Coronavirus At Valley Forge Middle School

Chester County is hosting several nasal swab coronavirus test events this week. See details on how and when you can get tested in Wayne.

WAYNE, PA — The Chester County government is hosting several coronavirus testing sites this week, and two will be in Wayne.

Valley Forge Middle School will host coronavirus testing on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

On Wednesday, tests will be administered from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Then on Thursday, testing will be done from 7 a.m. to noon.

Those who have symptoms — which are cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell — or who have had a known close contact with a positive case in the last 14 days.

After getting the test, those who provided an email address at registration will get a registration link to the lab portal. Results will be on the lab portal website, and you will also be notified via email when results are ready.

Those who provided a phone number at the time of registration and did not enter an email will get results by phone within four days. If you do not pick up this call, you will be called one more time by Health Department staff. After that, you will have to call the Health Department during business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Staff will not leave voicemails with test results and will not give results after business hours.
