"The Graduate," "Lawrence of Arabia" And "Casablanca" Coming To The Big Screen On The Main Line

One-time screenings of "The Graduate," "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Casablanca" are coming to the Bryn Mawr Film Institute in August.

One-time screenings of “The Graduate,” “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Casablanca” are coming to the Bryn Mawr Film Institute in August.

“The Graduate,” Mike Nichol’s 1967 film starring Dustin Hoffman, will be screened tonight only, at 7:15 p.m. Visit the Bryn Mawr Film Institute’s website for ticket information.

Later this month, the institute will screen David Lean’s 1962 epic “Lawrence of Arabia,” starring Peter O’Toole, on Wednesday, Aug. 26, at 7 p.m.

Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman will round out the month, with 1942’s “Casablanca,” on Thursday, Aug. 27, at 7:15 p.m. It will run in conjunction with the institute’s Cinema Classics Seminar.

A combination of new and classic films will be screened between now and the rest of the month, including “Mr. Holmes,” starring Ian McKellen as Sherlock Holmes, as well as Mae West’s and W. C. Field’s 1940 team-up “My Little Chickadee.”
