Herr's Snack Factory in Chesco Named America's Best Factory Tour

USA Today and its 10 Best website has named Herr’s Snack Factory in Chester County to the #1 spot in its survey of best factory tours in the country.

The rankings were based on a survey of USA Today readers. Pennsylvania actually notched two of the top four, with Hershey’s Chocolate World coming in fourth.

According to the report:

“Visitors get so close to the action that your tour guide may actually grab potato chips right off the line and hand them to you — so fresh that they’re still warm. This is the real deal. After filling up your mind with facts about pretzel- and chip-making and visiting three different buildings, visitors head to the gift shop to pick up a souvenir.”
