How Much Snow Did The Tredyffrin-Eastwown Area Get Thursday?

Many residents in the area are likely happy with Thursday's now: adults didn't have much to shovel and kids had the day off school.

What was forecasted to be a massive snow storm turned out to be almost a dusting in some area, and Patch has National Weather Service figures on snow accumulations in the area.

In the Tredyfrrin-Easttown area, the NWS reports Berywn saw 3 inches of snow as of 8 a.m., quite a bit lower than the 6 to 10 inches predicted. Nearby Wayne saw 4 inches, while Valley Forge and Chesterbrook saw 4.5 inches, according to the NWS in Mount Holly, New Jersey.

By about 11:30 a.m. Thursday, the skies cleared and the snow stopped.
