Howellville Road Bridge Work Starts Monday In Tredyffrin

PECO and other utility providers will relocate utility poles and lines throughout April and May.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A project address the Howellville Road Bridge over Norfolk-Southern rails in Tredyffrin will begin next week, according to township officials.

The townships said work will begin on the Howellville Road Bridge on April 20t.

Work will take place between Cloverly Road and PECO/Field of Dreams driveway entrances.

The work activity will include vegetation clearing/grubbing, erosion and sediment control, surveying, stake out and utility relocation by PECO and other utility providers.

Clearing and grubbing work will take place for two to three days.

After that, PECO and other utility providers will relocate utility poles and lines throughout April and May.

Drivers may encounter lane closures with flaggers and/or temporary daily roadway closures, depending on the contractor. Contractors associated with this project have received DCED waivers to continue work at this time.

Motorists are urged to use caution when driving in the area.

The work is associated with the Howellville Road Bridge Project over Norfolk Southern and to allow PECO and other utility providers to continue work to relocate their utility poles and overhead lines.
