Learn To Grow Your Own Veggies At Easttown Library May 14

A Penn State Master Gardener will teach residents about all things gardening, such as sun position, water requirements, and pest control.

BERWYN, PA – The Easttown Library is bringing in a master gardener to teach residents how to grow their owner vegetables at home.

The "Edible Gardening Today" program will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, May 4 in the library.

Penn State Master Gardener Anthony Buck will discuss the elements of a successful edible garden.

Attendees will learn about raised beds, square foot and intensive planting, soil, sun position, water requirements, pest control, composting, and growing a harvesting winter vegetables.
