Man Sentenced For Selling Tredyffrin Township Woman Deadly Drugs

This is the highest sentence and first jury trial conviction in Chester County for this type of case, Chester County DA Deb Ryan said.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man will spend up to 32 years in prison for selling a fatal dose of drugs to a Tredyffrin Township woman.

Chester County Distirct Attorney Deb Ryan said Ricky Lowe, 25, of Philadelphia, was his with a 14 to 32 year-prison sentence for selling a fatal dose of fentanyl to 32-year-old Alanna Holt, of the Malvern section of Tredyffrin Township, on Nov. 2.

Lowe was sentenced on charges of drug delivery resulting in death, possession with intent to deliver, and criminal use of communication Facility.

This is the highest sentence and first jury trial conviction in Chester County for this type of case, Ryan said.

According to Ryan, Judge Patrick Carmody noted the Lowe's lack of remorse based on the prison phone calls he made after his conviction in which he was still advising and guiding drug dealers on the outside when issuing the sentence. Carmod also commented on the callousness of the defendant when he continued sold Holt more drugs a few days later when he learned that the drugs he sold "made her sick."
