More Apple Products Go Missing from Local Store, Police Say

Also in the police reports, a Berwyn resident's identity is reported stolen.

The following information has been provided by the Tredyffrin Police Department. Any arrests or charges mentioned do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

Retail theft... On April 4, at 4:03 p.m., police responded to a report of theft in Gateway Shopping Center. A manager at the Staples reported that $380 worth of Apple brand products were missing from the store. A similar theft of Apple products occurred in late March at the same location. The case is under investigation. 

Theft... On March 4, at 7:18 p.m., police responded to a report of missing iPhone on Colket Lane in Devon. With the victim's help and the use of one of the phone's apps, police were able to track the phone to an address. Police plan to charge a juvenile with the theft.

Public Drunkenness... On April 5, at 10:10 a.m., police cited a visibly intoxicated 30-year-old Berwyn man for public drunkenness on Swedesford Road in Wayne. 

Identity Theft... On Monday, at 1:54 p.m., police responded to the 300 block of Contention Lane in Berwyn where a complainant said someone had fraudulently opened an auto loan using the complainant's Social Security number. The case was sent to detectives for investigation.
