The pork schnitzel dish originally curated for their Oktoberfest menu will also appear on the new seasonal menu due to high demand.
This season’s new menu is inspired by flavors found in warming comfort food, perfect for the transition to winter weather.
"This time of year, rich, hearty foods are more in demand. The main thought behind [the menu] is thinking of comforting and enjoyable food that people want to eat during the cold winter months," said chef Robert Stegbauer. "We really wanted to simplify the menu for fall and let the flavors speak for themselves. This menu is heavily inspired by the simple, succulent flavors of the comfort food we love for the winter months. We tried to keep our new fall items simple with the use of bold, defining ingredients like butternut squash and polenta throughout the recipes. Our new dishes are also crafted to pair with wines from our new fall drink menu."
The Black Powder Tavern is located at 1164 Valley Forge Road in Wayne.
