Pair Arrested in String of Easttown Vandalism

Two men from Downingtown are accused of spraypainting buildings along the SEPTA rail line in March.

Easttown police say they have caught two suspects responsible for vandalizing a series of buildings and vehicles in the township, according to Main Line Media News.

Kevin Aettelana, 19, and Michael Geary, 23, face several charges including criminal mischief and possessing instruments of crime, the report says.

The graffiti attacks occurred in mid-March, with several businesses getting defaced. According to investigator Andrew Tritz of the Easttown Police Department, the tags started at the Bagel Factory in Berwyn and continued along the R5 train tracks to the BMW dealership on Lancaster Avenue in Tredyffrin. The vandals made their marks on dumpsters, the sides of old buildings and two billboards.
