Paoli Acme Is The Place To Help Stuff Police Cruiser With Food
Tredyffrin Township police ask the public to come out Saturday and pitch in food that will help stock the Chester County Food Bank.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Tredyffrin Township Police Department is calling on the community to help "Stuff A Cruiser" with food for the Chester County Food Bank.
The gathering is at Paoli Acme, 39 Leopard Road, on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"With the ongoing pandemic, a greater number of families are in need. Please come out and support this event!" the police department said on social media.

Items needed include canned fruit, diced tomatoes, canned vegetables, especially green beans and corn, canned beans, especially black beans and pinto beans.
Also needed are dry goods like pasta and pasta meatless sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, and rice. Peanut butter and grape jelly are welcome, as are ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and salad dressings.

Always need are meat items like canned chicken and tuna, canned chili, beef stew, ravioli, and soups, especially vegetable, chicken noodle, and tomato soups.
Cold cereals are needed, especially corn flakes, Grape Nut flakes, toasted oats, and hot cereal, especially oatmeal and grits, as well as pancake mix and syrup.
