Paoli Home Renovation Contractor Sentenced For Grifting Clients
Michael Sheehan, who ran Element Kitchen & Bath Design in Paoli, was ordered to serve prison time and pay back more than $446,000.
PAOLI, PA — A man who ran a now-closed home improvement firm in Chester County has been hit with a prisons sentence for not completing work or doing shoddy work for clients.
Michael Sheehan, 41, of West Chester, was sentenced to two-and-a-half to ten years in prison, and ordered to pay $446,294 in restitution, according to court records.
Sheehan ran Element Kitchen & Bath Design, LLC out of Paoli and admitted to taking hundreds of thousands of dollars in down payments for home renovation work he never completed or did shoddy work on.

The Bureau of Consumer Protection worked in cooperation with the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, which recently filed criminal charges against Sheehan in Chester County for similar underlying allegations.
Services Sheehan did not complete included designing, installing, and supplying materials for renovations to consumers' homes but failing to perform the work or performing the work poorly.

One Chester County consumer says the firm and Sheehan owe him a total of about $89,610 after they failed to complete a significant home remodeling project.
