PennDOT Work Affecting Sugartown Road Traffic This Week

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Sugartown Road in Tredyffrin Township will be affected by PennDOT work this week.

PennDOT will be conducting resurfacing operations as a part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in the region.

From Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, lane restrictions are scheduled on Sugartown Road.

The affected area is between Waynesborough and Leopard roads.

Crews will be conduction for base repair work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
