Plan For Corner Gas Station Proposed In Easttown Twp.

A proposal would combine 3 lots at Lancaster, Midland, and Woodside avenues for a gas station and convenience store.

EASTTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — An application filed with the Easttown Township Planning Commission proposes building a gas station and convenience store at the juncture of Lancaster, Midland, and Woodside avenues on the border of Tredyffrin and Easttown townships.

The Preliminary Subdivision and Land Development Application (SD 530) proposes consolidating three lots situated just north of Berwyn Avenue. The proposal is to redevelop the 1.7-acre consolidated lot with a gasoline service station and convenience store.

The applicant is listed as Berwyn Owner, LLC of 578 Lancaster Ave., 4 Midland Ave., and 5 Woodside Ave, the addresses of the lots proposed for development.

The Easttown Twp. Planning Commission met Tuesday night. The meeting's agenda did not include the discussion of the preliminary plan for the proposed gas station and convenience store. It did include as items the sketch plan for St. David's Episcopal Church and an application to expand an automobile sales business on to 219 Lancaster Ave. by consolidating the lots and constructing a surface parking lot that extends into the front yard.

The planning commission meets the first Tuesday of every month at 6:30 for a workshop session followed by a full meeting at 7 p.m.
