Planting Tomatoes This Summer? Don't Miss This Workshop In Easttown

BERYWN, PA – With weather growing warmer and trees turning green, many people are likely thinking about their summer plans. And for those with a green thumb, they're probably thinking about their home garden and what they will plant.

Of course, tomatoes are a staple in most gardens, but how do you make them taste better than your neighbor's tomatoes?

The Easttown Library is hosting a workshop where attendees will learn the best techniques to grow unrivaled tomatoes.

Tomato lover Mike McGrath will lead the workshop, which will focus on the importance of correct planting, feeding, watering and support, with an emphasis on mistakes to avoid when growing tomatoes in containers.

One tip requires eggshells, so start saving them now if you want to wow with your tomatoes this year.

The workshop will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 3 at the library, 720 First Ave., Berwyn.
