Police Hosting Child Sex Abuse Awareness Event In Berwyn
Tredyffrin Police and the Crime Victims' Center of Chester Co. are teaming up to teach you how to recognize, react to, and prevent abuse.

BERWYN, PA – Members of the public are invited to attend a free workshop that will teach them how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7, Tredyffrin Township Police and the Crime Victims' Center of Chester County, Inc. will host the Steward of Children workshop.
The workshop will be held in Keene Hall in the Tredyffrin Township Building.

The training event is part of a three-year Chester County program to educate 5 percent of the adult population on the prevention of child sexual abuse.
Participants will:

- Learn how to minimize opportunities for child sexual abuse;
- have age-appropriate conversations about sex and boundaries;
- recognize red flags;
- and react responsibly.
