Together forever – that’s what Morty and Myrtle are hoping for. These two beauties were surrendered together at a local SPCA (reasons unknown), and soon showed themselves to be special sweeties, totally committed to each other!

The SPCA called Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals in Radnor and asked if they could take Morty and Myrtle, knowing Francisvale would keep the two together. So this bonded-perfectly pair is starting over, looking for a good home.  Myrtle is the pretty longhaired calico, demure and dainty.

Shy when she first arrived, she’s totally over that now and is out and about – tagging along after Morty.

Morty?  He’s a trip.  He’s Mr. Sociable, checking on what everyone’s doing, following the staff everywhere, looking for a pick-up, a hug – or better still, his very favorite thing – a belly rub. And, ahem, there is plenty to rub.  Morty is a big boy, about 20 pounds, so needless to say, when it comes meal time, he’s on it!

This big hunk of love and Miss Myrtle are happy to snuggle up together, grateful to still have each other after the upheaval in their lives. They know what counts!  Morty is seven, Myrtle is five.  They are healthy, super cats and will be great companions. They’re easy with other cats, people, children (Morty is especially delighted by kids).  Want to make this New Year brighter? Morty and Myrtle can help you with that.

Morty and Myrtle are waiting to meet you at Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals in Radnor.  Call 610-688-1018 or e-mail francisvaleadoptions@gmail.com.  On the web go to www.francisvalehome.org.
