TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA — The coronavirus pandemic is still plaguing Pennsylvania and the nation, with the southeast region being the state's hardest hit.

In Tredyffrin and Easttown, there are more than 160 cases of the virus, as of Friday.

According to Chester County, the townships account for 164 of the county's 2,363 total cases.

Tredyffrin Township has 96 cases. That figure represents just 0.33 percent of its population.

Easttown has fewer cases, with just 68 cases, which is 0.64 percent of its population.

In Tredyffrin, there has been 11 coronavirus-related deaths, which represents 0.03 percent of its population.

Easttown has seen just four deaths related to the virus. That's 0.03 percent of the township's population.

Chester County overall has had 232 coronavirus-related deaths.

The county has received 9,980 negative coronavirus test results to date.
