Smash and Grab Purse Theft from Car in Tredyfrrin

Police are searching for a thief who they say smashed a car window and stole a purse last Sunday.

According to Tredyffrin Police the purse was taken from a car in the parking lot of the Berwyn Squash Club.  The smash and grab crime was reported jus before 6:30 p.m. on October 20.

Police say the victim reported one of her car windows had been smashed out and her  stolen purse contained her ID and credit cards.

Tredyffrin Police "request residents to be vigilant and to secure all valuables out of sight in their vehicles."
