'Stoga Academic Team Wins County Championship
The team will head to Harrisburg in May to compete at the state level.

The Conestoga High School team won the 2013 Chester County Academic Competition championship last week. The team moves on to the state competition in Harrisburg on May 3.
The Chester County Intermediate Unit details how the team reached this point:
Starting in October 2012, 21 Chester County high schools began competing against one another in a "college-bowl" format where students answered a wide variety of challenging questions. The subject areas include literature, math, science, American and world history, geography, and current events. In order to compete in the varsity final, teams had to first accumulate the highest number of points during the regular season, then win their semifinal match in February.
The county championship held Thursday, March 14, was broadcast live on the internet. Unionville High School finished in second place, and West Chester East placed third.
