Sugartown Road In Tredyffrin Restricted By PennDOT Work Next Week
A portion of Sugartown Road will have lane restrictions Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22 due to resurfacing work, PennDOT said.
TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — Drivers will encounter lane restrictions on Sugartown Road in Tredyffrin for resurfacing work as a part of several projects to repair and resurface more than 200 miles of state highway in the Philadelphia region, PennDOT said.
Sugartown Road will have lane restrictions Monday, May 18 through Friday, May 22.
Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. those days.

The affected area is between Waynesborough and Leopard roads.
Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, PennDOT said. This includes protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because slowdowns will occur.
