Surrey Services Purchases New Building in Devon
The organization will spend about a year renovating the building.

“We are responding to an increased interest in health and wellness and lifelong learning. We are incredibly pleased and excited about the opportunities," Barbara Fentress, Surrey's president and CEO, said in the release. "The new facility will be a true community center and will enable us to serve a broader reach of people.”
The building is located behind the Devon Hill BMW dealership. Surrey will spend about a year renovating it and will offer expanded services when it opens, according to the release:
Surrey plans on having additional classrooms to encourage lifelong learning and the scope of educational programs will be broadened. Larger rooms will enable Surrey to offer an even greater variety of activities. A larger and more fully equipped Café will meet the nutrition needs of even more people, as well as be a fun and relaxed meeting place. The fitness center will be expanded and additional opportunities for exercise and fitness classes will be added. Surrey is also planning to have public and community meeting rooms.
