"As a counselor and a parent, I am deeply ingrained in the challenges facing today’s middle school students and the anxiety placed on parents trying to support them as they navigate through what can be very difficult years," said Mullen, of Radnor. "My hope in sharing Middle Schooled is that parents pick up a few useful tips, learn about why their children might be acting a certain way and how to best help them, and just as important, enjoy a laugh, remembering this too is just a phase on the way to adulthood."

"Middle Schooled" is available on Amazon.

Reviewers on Amazon called it "laugh out loud funny" while lauding its practical advice for parents. Overall, it's got a perfect 5-star rating based on 21 Amazon reviewers.

"So many parenting books feel technical and pretentious," one reviewer who identified themselves as a parent and a school principal said on Amazon. "Middle Schooled is filled with straightforward empowering ideas that you can put into action right away."

"We have elementary and middle school children and thought this book was full of great advice for all ages," another reviewer wrote.
