Tredyffin Shopping Center To Host 'Demolition Party': Report
Tredyffrin's Chesterbrook Village Shopping Center will be the site of a "demolition party" Tuesday.

Tredyffrin’s Chesterbrook Village Shopping Center will be the site of a “demolition party” Tuesday, where the developer plans to begin an $85 million project to renovate the largely vacant lot, according to the Daily Local News.
RW Capital Partners Inc. plans to eventually raze the former Genuardi’s supermarket and consolidate the retail part of the 122,216-square-foot shopping center, the report said. In addition, the developer hopes to build 123 townhouses priced in the $550,000 range.
Genaurdi’s was once the anchor of the shopping center, built in 1981. However, following the store’s decline and eventual closure in 2010, the shopping center has similarly seen hard times and sparse traffic.
