Tredyffrin Eyeing New Pet Waste, Off-Leash Ordinances
The ordinances cover pet waste, off leash pets, and how pet owners can legally keep have their pets off leash in the township.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – Tredyffrin Township supervisors are looking to expand the township's nuisance ordinances to include aspects of pets in parks and playgrounds.
On Nov. 7, supervisors will potentially adopt new ordinances about off-leash animals and animal waste.
One ordinance, if adopted, will prohibit any animal to run free at any time, as well as making pet owners legally responsible for picking up animal waste.

Additionally, another ordinance sets ground for how pet owners can have their animals off-leash in designated areas of the township. Owners looking to have their pets off leash must register their pets under the new ordinance.

The public is invited to attend the upcoming meeting on Nov. 7 to weigh in on the ordinance.
The meeting will be held in the Tredyffrin Township building, 1100 DuPortail Road, Berwyn.
