Tredyffrin Library Hosting Drag Queen Story Time June 28
Local drag queen Balena Canto will be reading picture books about kindness, love, and acceptance the morning of June 28 at the library.
TREDYFFRIN, PA — The Tredyffrin Public Library is hosting a special story time event with a Drag Queen next week.
The library is hosting Storytime with Drag Queen Balena Canto on Friday, June 28.
From 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Balena Canto will read picture books about kindness, love, and acceptance.

Attendees will sing songs, practice sign language, and make a crown or rainbow craft.
Children age 12 and under are welcome with an adult. All adults must be accompanied by a child.

Free tickets will be handed out to the first 50 children 30 minutes before the program begins outside the large meeting room.
Matthew Maisano is the creator behind Balena Canto and debuted the drag queen in October 2017.
