Tredyffrin PD to Discuss Child Predators, Megan's Law Tuesday Night
The police department will present a free information session on the Megan's Law website and how to protect children from predators, as part of its Police Learning Series.

There are 13 registered sex offenders living in Tredyffrin Township, according to the Megan's Law section of the Pennsylvania State Police website.
The Tredyffrin Police Department will host a program Tuesday evening, titled "Child Predators and Megan's Law," with information for parents about how to use the website and how to keep children safe.
The free program, which begins at 7 p.m. in the township building's Keene Hall, is the latest installment in the department's Police Learning Series.

According to the Tredyffrin Township website, Det. James Konieczny will discuss the Megan's Law website and the grooming process used by child abusers, plus these related topics:
- Parent resources
- Changes in law
- Offender’s profile
- Ways to keep your child safe
The program will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Tredyffrin Township building, 1100 DuPortail Road in Berwyn.
