Tredyffrin Township PD Names Jackson Officer Of The Year
Tredyffrin Twp. Police Officer Neil Jackson is a U.S. Army veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq and has been named Officer of the Year.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA — An officer who has served in multiple units of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, on Chesco's emergency response team, as well as two tours overseas in the U.S Army is now Officer of the Year.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department has named Officer Neil Jackson its 2020 Officer Of The Year.
The department said it "proudly" gave Jackson the designation. The 10-year veteran of the Tredyffrin Township Police Department is presently assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit and has served in multiple units, receiving multiple commendations.

In a decade of service here, Jackson has been called on to lead and instruct others. The department said in a news release that in addition to his primary responsibilities, Jackson is an Assistant Team Leader on the Chester County Regional Emergency Response Team, a member of the police honor guard, a defensive tactics instructor, a member of the Chester County Municipal Drug Task Force, and a member of the Bike Patrol Unit.
Jackson is also a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a Ranger and completed one tour of duty in Afghanistan and one tour of duty in Iraq.

"Officer Jackson is married and a devoted father of four children," the department's news release added.
The Tredyffrin Township Police Department also awarded two Life Saving Commendations, one Commendation of Merit, and three Unit Citations to multiple officers for superior actions in the line of duty.
