Tredyffrin Township Police Blotter: Fortune Telling And More

Last Friday, Tredyffrin Township arrested a “fortune teller,” on charges that she had bilked a customer out of $24,000 in “spiritual readings, meditation services and other life improvement promises.”

Here are some other items from Tredyffrin Township’s police blotter, via Crime Watch PA:

RETAIL THEFT ARREST 9/1/15 – 1505 hours – Acme Markets in Paoli. Ryan Snyder, 35, of West Chester, PA was charged with Retail Theft after he attempted to return items for cash which were stolen from the store.
RETAIL THEFT 9/2/15 at 1921 hours – Wine & Spirits Store in Wayne. Two unknown males entered the store and stole at least one bottle of bourbon, valued at approximately $30.00.
ASSAULT 9/2/15 at 2350 hours – 1700 block of North Valley Road in Malvern. Police charged Eric Franklin, 24, of Malvern, PA with Simple Assault; Harassment and Disorderly Conduct after he was involved in a domestic dispute.
POSSESSION 9/3/15 at 1045 hours – Darby Road in Paoli. Police charged Alexander Delgado, 26, of Wynnewood, PA with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia during a traffic stop.
THEFT 9/3/15 at 1332 hours – Bike Line in Gateway Shopping Center. Two GoPro cameras were stolen from the store after two males had exited after being in there for a short time. The cameras were valued at $499.99 each. The case is under investigation.
THEFT FROM AUTO 9/4/15 at 1148 hours – 700 block of Avonwood Drive in Wayne. Two lawn blowers were stolen from a trailer while it was unattended. The equipment is valued at approximately $720.00.
BIKE THEFT 9/6/15 at 1056 hours – Beechwood Road in Berwyn. The victim reported two of their bicycles missing from their garage. The bikes were valued at approximately $700.00.
BIKE THEFT FROM AUTO 9/6/15 at 1228 hours – 200 block of Irish Road in Berwyn. The victim reported their bicycle was stolen from the rear of their unlocked vehicle. The bike is valued at $900.00.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT 9/6/15 at 1159 hours – Crestline Road in Wayne. Emily Hobson, 32, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Disorderly Conduct after she was contacted by police for trespassing on personal property and not complying with the officer’s directions.
ASSAULT 9/6/15 at 2051 hours – Strafford Circles in Wayne. Police charged Clifford Alfred, 54, of Struthers, OH with Simple Assault and Harassment after he was involved in a domestic dispute.
POSSESSION 9/7/15 at 1548 hours – Route 202. Najee Jones, 21, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Paraphernalia during a traffic stop. ASSAULT 9/9/15 at 0853 hours – South Valley Road in Paoli. Darryl Moody, 18, of Paoli, PA was charged with Simple Assault; Harassment and Theft by Unlawful Taking after he was involved in a domestic dispute.
PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS 9/10/15 at 1214 hours – Acme Markets in Paoli. Randy Lambert, 57, of Philadelphia, PA was charged with Public Drunkenness after officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT/ FALSE REPORTS 9/11/15 at 1400 hours – Lancaster Avenue in Paoli. Shaakira Holly, 32, of Collingdale, PA was charged with supplying False Identification to Law Enforcement and Resisting Arrest after she was contacted by officers who determined that she had an active warrant for her arrest in Philadelphia.

THEFT 9/14/15 at 1054 hours – 400 block of Donalyn Lane in Berwyn. The homeowner reported that a copper down spout, scuppers and brackets were stolen from the residence. The value of the copper is unknown at this time. The case is under investigation.
