Tredyffrin Winter Program Back On For 2017-2018
The township announced the minimum registration limit has been met. And you can still sign kids up through Dec. 8 for an additional fee.

TREDYFFRIN TOWNSHIP, PA – It's official: the 2017-2018 Tredyffrin Township Winter Program has been reinstated. The township announced Thursday, Nov. 30 that the 135-person minimum has been reached, meaning the program is a go for this season.
While the program begins Saturday, Dec. 2 at Valley Forge Elementary School, registration is extended through Dec. 8 for an additional $15, according to the township.
Registration costs $25 for Tredyffrin Township residents and $36 for non residents.

The sign up form is available online here.
Th program is designed for kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade and is held between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on dates in December, January, and February at Valley Forge Elementary School.

Activities in the program include board games, basketball, rock climbing, dodge ball, puzzles, floor hockey, and more.

The township said low enrollment numbers and a lack of staff led the park board to cancel the 2017-2018 program.
But when the public spoke up, showing their disappointment over the cancellation, the township said it would reinstate the program under the right circumstances.
