18-Year-Old Charged with Chesterbrook Rape

Tredyffrin Police on Friday charged an Upper Darby man with rape and related offenses in connection with a sexual assault of a woman that occurred April 21 in the Chesterbrook section of the township.

Ainsley Bonitto Jarrett Jr., 18, is in Chester County Prison after failing to post $75,000 cash bail. He faces seven felony charges, including rape of an unconscious victim.

Jarrett is scheduled for a preliminary hearing before District Judge Analisa Sondergaard on Friday morning.
