Utility Work To Close Lanes On U.S. 30 Starting Sunday
On Lancaster Avenue through East Whiteland Twp. lanes will be restricted between Planebrook Road and Coffman Street.

EAST WHITELAND TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation alerted motorists of lane restrictions along U.S. 30 in East Whiteland Township for utility work.
Contractor GMH East Whiteland Holdings, LLC is planning daytime and overnight lane restrictions on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), according to PennDOT.
The restricted lanes will be between Planebrook Road and Coffman Street in East Whiteland Township, Chester County. The restrictions will happen Sunday, Aug. 16, through Friday, Sept. 11, PennDOT said.

The work schedule is:
- Sundays through Fridays, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day; and
- Mondays through Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

GMH East Whiteland Holdings, LLC will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
