Volunteers Re-Plant Wilson Farm Park Trees
Volunteers undo the senseless mischief of vandals at Wilson Farm Park.

Volunteer trumped vandals over the weekend at Wilson Farm Park. Co‐chair of the Tredyffrin Township Environmental Advisory Council Chuck Cutshall was among a dozen volunteers who went to the park Saturday morning to replant more than fifty seedlings that had been planted in a major volunteer effort in late September.
Cutshall tells TE Patch that "12 volunteers restaked and replanted the affected trees in Wilson Farm Park. I counted 52 broken wooden stakes and several seedlings were damaged beyond replanting. Many of the seedlings next to the putting green were pulled from the ground. Although the trees were replanted, time will tell if they will survive."
The trees were uprooted and vandalized in the overnight hours last Thursday. Tredyffrin Police are still searching for suspects in the case. Police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo told the Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors meeting on Monday that detectives are following a number of leads in the case.
