Warriors Given a Warm Welcome by Woodlynde School Colleagues

Woodlynde School teachers, faculty, and staff turned school supply pickup into a celebration!

As summer turns to fall, students look forward to the school year not only because they get to see their friends and teachers, but because they can count on a familiar routine. Knowing that this year would be different at least initially due to Covid-19 concerns, Woodlynde School colleagues planned an exciting back-to-school surprise for students and families as they came by the school to pick up their learning materials.

Woodlynde School students and families were invited to drive up, view the outside of the new Student Commons, and retrieve the supplies they need to start the school year off right. What they did not expect was to be announced enthusiastically by Kristin McMurrer and celebrated by Woodlynde School colleagues. Brian Richardson DJed outside while teachers cheered, waved welcome signs, and even hula hooped.
