Wayne's Abbi Jacobson Appearing at ThinkFest

Comedian Abbi Jacobson of the hit Comedy Central show Broad City, a native of Wayne who graduated from Conestoga High School, will appear at Philadelphia Magazine’s upcoming ThinkFest event, organizers announced Monday.

Jacobson, according to the announcement, will appear on stage with popular local author Jennifer Weiner, and the two will discuss “Hollywood, Philly, being a female in comedy, and the new world of entertainment.”

ThinkFest will take place Nov. 6 at Drexel’s LeBow College of Business. Others appearing include Gov. Tom Wolf, Mayor Michael Nutter, journalist Buzz Bissinger, the School Reform Commission’s Farah Jimenez and many other prominent Philadelphians.
