What's open or closed for the holiday?

TREDYFFRIN-EASTTOWN, PA – Wednesday is Independence Day, and chances are you've got plans that start before the 4th and trail into the long weekend. Make sure your propane tank is filled, you've got some sparklers and there are enough buns and beer for the holiday. Here is what's closed and what's open on the Fourth of July.

Locally, all municipal offices and administrative offices are closed.

Open

  • Grocery stores
  • Pennsylvania state liquor stores that are normally open on Wednesday will be open. All stores will close at 5 p.m.
  • King of Prussia Mall is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (normal hours)
  • SEPTA is operating on a modified holiday schedule. For details on SEPTA's Independence Day Service, see their schedules here. Throughout the day Regional Rail and Transit service will operate on a Sunday schedule, with added late night service after the fireworks on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
